Everyone could be a blogger and anyone could be a good blogger. If someone do judges the another by the appearance, for sure the readers (followers to be) will do the same in term of judging on the posts. As a blogger, it is not good enough to work on an extraordinary widgets, template and all the related but only with the so-so content or topic. In three years back, I read many blog and I believe the content itself do attract the audience to reach your blog as well as kept on reading. In addition, it was depending on the audience interest in order to continuously read your blog. Sensitive issues may not be read by close minded people but as a good blogger (owner of a good blog), he/she tends to play with the words and terms used. The interesting topics followed by a good wording could work very well. A good content is including the easy-to understand posts, big impact messages, matured issues, and etcetera. Moreover, it is better not to blend in your personal matters with the topics but why don't you blend with your opinions or thoughts. Then, readers may comfortable enough to read and drop the comments as well. For instance, I do like to read the posts that covered the information and writer opinions. The simple tip is well known your target audience and put yourself in their shoes. Enough said, the blog will choose the audience and a good content has an ability to attract the audience naturally.
